BIOGRAPHY

​Hongyu Guan is an Artist based in both the UK and Chongqing, studying at， Fine Art Level 5 at Kingston University London. In her personal art practice, she has been exploring the use of artwork as a vehicle to enhance the artist's connection with the audience. She specialises in working with a variety of materials and media such as oil, ceramics, watercolour and video. and integrating them with interactive art. The subjects she explores are often related to personal emotions, feminism, the natural environment and social issues, and her work moves from the personal to the social, thus exploring the connection between the individual and society.
